Iconx is not trying to contact the X server; you're seeing a message
from the system loader trying to get all the necessary libraries in
place before starting iconx. You might be able to get away with
just installing the single libx11.so.6 file.
Even if you don't like the idea, rebuilding Icon without graphics is
probably the simplest solution. You don't need to use the same
machine; you can build it elsewhere and move the binaries.
